Rod Tatchio is a professional architect licensed since 1983. As President of Tatchio and Associates, Rod has considerable experience in Industrial, Commercial, Residential, and Municipal projects and is licensed to practice in two states. He is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and The American Institute of Architects and its Dallas Chapter.
Established in 1987, Tatchio and Associates' philosophy is to design a practical structure that will assist in creating an enthusiastic, pleasurable, and useful environment for its occupants.
His awareness in construction methods and cost constraints make him one of the leading Architectural Designers of North Texas. Rod considers his repetitive business from satisfied clients to be an indication of the quality in the designs created by his firm.
On a communal level, Rod participates in activities of the local Rotary Club and is a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Rod has served as a key member of The Sherman Planning and Zoning Board and The Board of Appeals.

Site Analysis
Projects are a unique combination of economics, site conditions and design. Through inspections, land survey and photographs, we observe the key site design requirements. Included are climatic conditions, views, access to the site, adjacent land uses and landmarks. The data obtained will form the basis of a series of design solutions resulting in a quality projects.
Architectural Services
Schematic Design
Solutions based on programmed needs involving the scale and relationship of space and function.
Design Development
Preliminary documents to establish shape, size, and aesthetics including Mechanical and Electrical systems and construction budget.
Construction Document
Complete documentation for consturction of the new facility.
Project Administration
Assisting in obtaining qualified bids. Inspection of work to ensure compliance with documents and approval of contractor's pay request.
Colored Renderings
Three Dimensional drawings done in color to promote and market the facility.
Models
Scale models in contoured site to help visualize color, texture, and proportions.
CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
Design/Build
Design/Build for fast tract projects, the design and construction will be provided by Tatchio and Associates.
This allows immediate transition from design to contruction of the project/facility.
Construction Management
Construction Management After completion of construction documents, the Owner and the Manager team up bid out each category of work and select the subcontractors. This allows the Owner more involvements and control during constrution.
